Major: Child Studies Minor: Music and Art Instrument: Bass Clarinet Erica was born in Naples, FL, and was drum major at Barron Collier High School. She has been playing the B flat clarinet and the bass clarinet for nine years. Erica has performed at Carnegie Hall and the McDonalds Thanksgiving Day Parade in Chicago. Fun Fact: She has hiked the Rocky Mountains. |
Lissette Garcia

Officer Position: Treasurer Major: Music Education Instrument: Euphonium Lissette grew up in Port Charlotte, Florida. She has been playing Euphonium for 10 years and can also play trombone, trumpet, and tuba. She loves to travel to different places and plans to travel the world one day. Lissette loves to play sports. she grew up playing soccer and basketball, but joined marching band high school. She has three sisters and 4 brothers, many of which are half siblings. She has two full blooded sisters named Cynthia and Alexis, which Lissette is the youngest of the two. She loves to eat food, including pizza and pasta, which are Lissette's favorite meals. Fun Fact: She likes to meow a lot and make Spongebob Squarepants references. |

She loves to play in the Wind Orchestra and in the FGCU saxophone quartet. She hopes to become and elementary music teacher. Fun Fact: Marissa loves black cats! |
Porter Gulseth

Porter graduated in 2014 from Cooper City High School, where they served as the flute captain for two years. They have played the flute since the sixth grade. Porter taught with the Music Adventures Inc. Band Camp for three years, and currently teaches group flute lessons for middle schools through the Naples Music Club. Porter aims to pursue a graduate degree in either music history or musicology, in order to someday teach classes at the collegiate level.
Fun Fact: Porter made a glissando headjoint out of PVC pipe.

Initiation Date: November 17, 2013 - Zeta Class Past Chapter Vice President Major: Music Education Instrument(s): Percussion and Piano Bekah started playing the piano at age three then during her freshman year of high school she started playing percussion. Her first percussion instructor was Mr. Jones, the Director of the Symphonic Band here at FGCU, and now he is her instructor here as well. Bekah decided to join KKPsi because she was inspired by the spectacular musicians. She also served as the Social Chair for the Fraternity. |

Aria Ramirez

Major: Art Minor: Music Instruments: Clarinet and Bass Clarinet Aria began playing clarinet in the 5th grade at Naples High School. She was the clarinet section leader during her senior year. She currently plays in both the Symphonic Band and Wind Orchestra at FGCU. Some day, she wants to be an illustrator of her own book and play in a theater orchestra. Isaiah Suriel

Major: Music Education Instrument: Alto Saxophone Isaiah was born in Paterson, New Jersey and lived in St. Augustine when his family moved to Florida. He comes from a Dominican background. He first started on saxophone in 8th grade and marched with the Nease Panther Pride Band in high school. He was part of the Disney Band and participated in an indoor percussion ensemble, where they performed in Dayton, Ohio at WGI in 2015, placing 10th in the world. Isaiah also sang tenor in choir during his high school years. He auditioned for FGCU in 2015 and has been a part of the Wind Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Band since attending school that Fall. Fun Fact: Isaiah can play music by ear! |
Johnathan Visgatis

Initiantion Date: November 20, 2016 Officer Position: Sergeant at Arms Major: Instrument: Clarinet John was born and raised in Naples, Florida and attended Gulf Coast High School. His in music began in middle school where he was introduced to the clarinet and performed in the All State Honor Band in 8th grade. The experience at that level encouraged him to audition for the Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra later that year. He played with them for four years. In high school, he played with the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band, playing tenor sax for the latter. He returned to Tampa to play in the Symphonic All State Band for his junior and senior years. The past two years while at FGCU, he has spent his extra time by teaching clarinet students at Miller's Sheet Music in Bonita Springs. His other interests include keeping up with current political topics. John is proud to have become a member of Kappa Kappa Psi. Fun Fact: John has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dash, who is a new member to his family! |
